Current state: Accelerated onboarding provides quicker relief to issues stemming from labor shortages. Badges and rewards help remind employees they are valued and appreciated, boosting satisfaction and retention. Workers gain autonomy when they have more power to choose their own shifts. Managers can better support workers with AI focused on detecting employee dissatisfaction, so managers can intervene and better support less satisfied employees. Workers are incentivized by badges and rewards to learn new skills, which helps them earn more money, while further boosting their job security as they become more competitive compared to their peers.

Future state: data collection and analytics (i.e., a dashboard for project managers to view real-time, detailed updates on construction progress). This would help project managers intervene sooner to ensure workers remain productive and projects stay on track.
