Will a labor crunch derail plans to upgrade US infrastructure?

Current state: Findd’s rewards and badges could be used to incentivize employees to learn new skills that are in high demand. Upskilling boosts job security for previously incarcerated individuals, who experience significant prejudice in the workforce. Nonwage job perks will help attract new individuals to the profession and retain existing workers. Easy onboarding quickens relief to labor shortage issues. More robust technology in general would help attract highly skilled programmers, designers, and engineers to these industries, industries that would benefit from more automation in manufacturing and bulk production.

Future state: AI could assist with scheduling to optimize productivity. AI could also be used to forecast market demand and recommend solutions during periods of lower market demand that could make contracts more appealing to the market or financially feasible (i.e., choosing between modular versus traditional construction methods, or revising the payment plan and asking for half of the reimbursement after manufacturing the materials, prior to beginning construction).
